Premier Jacinta Allan’s Labor team has disgracefully voted to continue the cover-up of the largest corruption scandal in Victoria’s history.

This evening in the Legislative Assembly, Labor voted down new laws to provide Victoria’s chief anti-corruption agency with ‘following-the-money’ powers, which would have allowed for the proper investigation of rorted public funds by third-parties on major projects.

By blocking these laws, Labor is continuing its cover-up of at least $15 billion – or $5,000 for every Victorian household – lost to corruption under their watch.

The only way to get to the bottom of the largest corruption scandal in Victoria’s history is to change the government this November.

Only a Wilson Liberal and Nationals Government will clean up Victoria and hold a Royal Commission in CFMEU misconduct.
