The Allan Government has tried to hide the fact that its Ministry is a conga line of bone-idle Ministers, by publicly releasing Ministerial diaries for December 2023, late on Friday afternoon.
The diaries expose a level of sheer laziness and inactivity that proves a number of Ministers simply do not deserve their $368,000 pay cheque.
Over the month of December, Natalie Hutchins had one Ministerial meeting, Anthony Carbines had two meetings, Enver Erdogan had three meetings, Harriet Shing and Danny Pearson had four meetings, and Gayle Tierney had five meetings.
The Manager of Opposition Business, James Newbury, said “The Premier should explain to Victorians how she is allowing many of her team to earn $368,000 a year and yet do no work on behalf of those who pay their salaries.
“Jacinta Allan doesn’t understand cost of living pressures. If she did, she would have taken action against a slew of Labor Ministers who have proven they are lazy and have run out of puff, if they ever had any.
“Instead of trying to bury more bad news on a Friday afternoon, the Premier should be calling the relevant Ministers in and demanding they lift their game or hand over to others who will at least put in some effort on behalf of Victorians.”
