ARE YOU CONCERNED ABOUT SAFETY AT THE RUSDEN STREET BUS STOP IN BRIGHTON?

The community is concerned about safety at the relocated bus stop at 23 Rusden Street in Brighton.

The State Labor Government promised to temporarily relocate the bus stop from its original location, during works at the nearby public housing development. The Minister said in 2021, “The existing bus stop will be temporarily relocated during construction works and will be reinstated close to its original position”.

Despite that promise, and recent safety concerns being raised, the Labor Government has broken their word and confirmed that the bus stop will not be moved back to its original position.
