‘YACHT CLUB OPENING DAY’.

With the firing of a shotgun, the 149th season of the Royal Brighton Yacht Club was declared open as the Club is on the cusp of celebrating its 150th anniversary.

As the story goes, the Club was set up following a challenge raised between two gentlemen on Middle Brighton Beach.

Congratulations to the Commodore Niesje Hees on the opening.
