Members Statement - Elwood Primary School

MEMBERS STATEMENT

‘ELWOOD PRIMARY SCHOOL’.

Mr NEWBURY (Brighton) (10:13):

For the second time in two weeks staff at Elwood Primary School were forced to stand in open running sewage because of faulty plumbing in one of the bathrooms.

For over a year the school has been waiting for the state government to fund repairs.

We also know that despite a public commitment by the Premier to repair infrastructure at the school, Labor withdrew promised funding.

As the school says, enough is enough.

And their broken promise is known by the entire community.
