‘DENDY BEACH PRECINCT’.

Mr NEWBURY (Brighton) (9:45):

One million people visit Brighton’s famous Dendy beach and bathing boxes each year.

The site has become an international icon.

Despite Bayside Council raising $5 million each year from the precinct, the Council is not investing back into the management of the location.

Unfairly, local residents of Dendy Street and surrounds are bearing enormous burdens on their amenity.

It is time for Bayside Council to step up.
